SEAMLESS PAPER TEXTURES (Brites)
-------for Photoshop-------

*IMAGE PACK (PNG Files) INCLUDED
w/.pat File

This is a Pattern File (.pat) for Photoshop- a nice Paper Texture, in 9 Bright, Vibrant Colors-completely seamless...so in other words, you get seamless patterns & textures in one! But for those of you without Photoshop, i have also included the IMAGE PACK- of all 9 PNG Files

TIP: There are many times when in the process of creating a seamless pattern for Photoshop, it feels as if something is missing- that it needs something more- that extra kick. It has often been the case, for me, that what is lacking is the element of texture- a little bit of texture goes a long way- it can add an interesting dynamic to what may otherwise be a blah blah, plain old flower pattern. But adding texture- if it's not seamless- can mess up the seamless quality of your pattern. There are a whole bunch of textures out there, and a whole lot of patterns- but there aren't quite so many seamless textures- particularly if you have something specific in mind. Now the best solution, of course, is always to make your own- which i have done. This is the first set- and i have more- so keep an eye out for them as they are released. I hope that you will find them useful for all of your beautiful work!

~~~
oh- and another QUICK TIP: if you want to use seamless textures in the creation of seamless patterns, in order to keep that seamless quality, you should stick with using them for patterns of either the same size, or multiples of their size (example- these paper textures are 300x300- if you want to create a pattern to use them with, you should either create a 300x300 sized pattern, or 600x600, 900x900...etc).... enjoy :blowkiss:
Forgot to ask - what are your terms of use for these? Would I be allowed to use them for making parts of scrapbook packs? (like inside little clip art bits and stuff?)
sure you can!- im not strict when it comes to (most of) my resources- after all, that is what they are for, right?
Sometimes i may indicate stricter terms for a resource- but not often, and usually only in the case of certain patterns- particularly those patterns containing an original drawing or design element that does not have the quality of being simplistic or "general"-(for lack of a better word). (And, just for the sake of clarity, although it doesn't concern the paper textures in question- it also depends on how the pattern is used- the portion it is used- and how much the piece in its entirety depends upon it [if at all]- [which is quite often, not substantial, not that much, and not at all]). But if i haven't indicated anything, you have no worries:)...
Such as is the case w/these textures (*although they are submitted as photoshop "patterns" and are in the form of a .pat file- they are only patterns in that they are seamless, but are technically more "texture" in nature). So i have no problem with you using them for scrapbook kits or for D.A submissions or whatever & do not require you to credit me.
I would, however, like to commend you for asking- i appreciate your taking the time in doing so & your respect for artists boundaries- it's always good to ask when in doubt. But like i said, resources are for others to use. It is a compliment to me when i make something for others to use, and someone likes it enough to do so! Use it up sweety- have fun with them :blowkiss:
Wow, that's great! I'll be sure to ask/credit/all that stuff if I do use it, of course, but it's nice to know there's someone still generous about resources...
